01. Iβm planning on doing a study abroad program, do you have any tips on what to do once you get to the airport or navigating the school? π
Great question! I know so many of you are traveling for the winter/coming here to study so let's go over the basics! β€οΈ
1. As soon as you get to the airport, get a SIM card or connect to wifi!
Everything will make so much more sense when you have the internet at your disposal and honestly you guys also might need to use the translation or TEUIDA APP! There are a few places that sell sim cards for temporary use and if you're in Korea on a visitor visa or studying for less than a semester then you will probably need to use a visitor sim card! If not, connect to wifi and hopefully you already have these apps downloaded: Naver maps, Kakao maps, Subway Korea πββοΈ
2. Put in your destination on Kakao or Naver maps and check the different methods you can use to get there! β€οΈ
If you're going to an airbnb or hotel just type the address (copy paste). If you're going to a university, it is VERY likely that you will have a subway stop next to your university so just look for the subway stop! If you have tons of things, maybe you would be better off taking an airport bus which in this case use THIS LINK to look up which bus to take! Everything is in English so I'm sure you guys will have no issues!
3. If you're taking the subway, then put in the subway stop name into the Subway Korea app and follow the instructions!
You can just follow the path and the transfers from the app and even see which car to get in which will make it easier for you to transfer! You also can use Kakao or Naver for this as well but the Subway Korea app has the map which might make it even easier! β€οΈ
