1. Trick or Teuida

It’s officially spooky season! 👻 Since Halloween is right around the corner, Teuida will be hosting an event for you guys to win 10 days of our ✨ premium service ✨

2. Creepy Monday w/ Yeji 👧

By popular request we are continuing our Instagram live broadcast! ✨ Halloween day in Korea (10.31) is on a Monday this year~ On this day, Yeji will be holding an Instagram live to talk about some creepy halloween stories and answer your questions :) ❤️

3. New Teuida Content (Halloween Edition) 🎃 👻

Our content team has been working extra hard this week to get this out for you all!

Okay now enough with the announcements, let’s learn something new this week!

First of all look at this word ⬇️

👻 할로윈

For those of you who can read Hangeul you would know that this spells “Halloween!”
But there is a debate about this word in Korea… Can you guess what it is? 🤔

We all spell Halloween like 할로윈 because this is how we say it (with the a sound).

But the truth? It is actually supposed to be spelled like this: 핼로윈 which is the eh sound (like Helloween). Because of this discrepancy, it has turned into a common debate among some as to which one is right!

While the word is officially supposed to be spelled 핼로윈 even newspapers spell it like 할로윈!!! Weird right?! TBH we spell it like 할로윈 too… shhhh 🤫
