Please tell me I'm not the only one who has been seeing the viral DUBAI chocolate all over my for you page on tiktok?!!?!

I know it's been viral worldwide for SO long but the chocolate is FINALLY available in Korea (starting this week~) And you know how it works in Korea, if something is trendy it's sold out. CU (one of our convinence store brands) launched their own version and it was sold out WITHIN an hour.

The top searched items on the CU app are

1. Chocolate

2. Dubai

3. Dubai Chocolate

Because it's so hard to find, this app allows you to get a notification for when stock comes in to the nearest CU store! (I have my notifications on I really want to try it. If any of you are from Dubai pls send us chocolate 😘 jk but not rly)

Korean Slang/Word

of the Week 🍎

탐나다 (tam-na-da)

This is a VERY common slang/word that people use here in Korea! This word is used when you want to try something/it's tempting so you want to have it for yourself.

FOR EXAMPLE: "두바이 초코릿 탐나요..."

Which means "I want the Dubai Chocolate.."

You could equate it to the phrase "갖고 싶다 (gat-go ship-da) which means I want to have it but this is a short and trendy way to say it! ❤️

I want ______ --> ______탐나/탐난다/탐나요

This is one of my FAVORITE SONGS at the moment and it's topping charts in Korea RN

Let's learn what this part of the lyrics say:

"오늘 같은 날이 더 없대도"

(oh-neul gat-eun na-ri deo ob-dae-do)

Let's break it down:

오늘 - today
같은 - like ___
날이 - day
더 - more
없대도 - even if there is no/none

This lyric means: "Even if there's no other day like today" The rest of the lyrics say "I want to stay!" If you wanted a similar English phrase it would have the same vibes as "even if today is my last day" 😋 Hope that helps!

The BEST anti pollution advice I have for you is 1. always skin prep and use sunscreen before you leave BUT the MOST important thing 2. USE AN OIL CLEANSER! there are so many things that stick to your face throughout the day (especially pollution in Korea) and to get rid of it you should oil cleanse or use a cleansing balm! 😮
