Happy (almost) halloween!!! Hope you're all doing well :)
Let's get right into this week's issue of Teugether! βΊοΈ
What's trending in Korea this week?! π°π·
Okay if y'all haven't heard this song yet WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?! π
For those of you who are living under a rock, Rose from Blackpink released a new song with THE Bruno Mars & it has been stuck in EVERYONE'S head ever since!!!! β€οΈ
The song is really addicting and good but I wanted to teach you all what the meaning behind it is! π
The song is actually based on the popular Korean drinking game, APT (μννΈ) which means apartment. One person yells out a number and everyone in the group puts their hands in & stacks them. One by one they count up until the number called out and whoever the number falls on has to drink!!! Fun right ?! π
Check out the video of the game below!
Korean Slang of the Week π°π·
μΈμ β
(in-jeong)
This is personally one of my MOST used slangs, let's learn what it means!!!
You know when someone says something that you agree with fully or you just wanna tell them "you're so right!"?! The english word you'd say is probably "facts" right?!
There's a Korean version! μΈμ basically means "I agree" or "facts" The shortened form of this γ γ ! Which you can write when texting!
Use this and I swear people are going to think you're a native speaker hehe β€οΈ
This is honestly such a good question because, actually, there is NO such thing as "bless you" in Korean! When someone sneezes there is nothing that you say and therefore there would really be no response to it!! Weird rightt?!!! When I studied abroad for 4 years in Canada and came back to Korea I started feeling SO WEIRD when I sneezed and no one said anything HAHA π Hope that answered your question!
