Korean Slang of the Week π°π·
"λ΄λλ΄μ°"
(nae-don-nae-san)
This slang phrase is a shortened version of
"λ΄κ° λ μ£Όκ³ λ΄κ° μ°"
Let's break it down!!!
λ΄κ°: I
λ μ£Όκ³ : gave money
λ΄κ°: I
μ°: bought
This phrase basically means 'something I bought with my own money.'
Some kids might say this when they want to express that they spent their own money on it instead of their parents. For example, when I got my first paycheck and bought something I told my friends it was "λ΄λλ΄μ°" :D
The more common way it's used is by influencers or celebrities who say they bought the product themselves (aka they aren't getting paid to promote it)
Next time you see "λ΄λλ΄μ°" on a video, you can trust what they say cuz it's basically a way of saying "NOT SPONSORED" !!!
β€οΈ p.s. you might see your favorite idols or actors say this as well
To answer your question with a single answer... yes...
Unfortunately, there are a lot of people in Korea who smoke, and while I think the spitting problem is definitely getting better (because it was mainly older generations who did this) it is definitely still a problem :(
Most people will do it on a gutter or on a corner so it's not like it's all up in your face in the middle of the street tho (that is just an exaggeration)! If that makes you feel any better.
I always want to be real with you guys (even about the bad things) so ask me whatever and I'll be sure to be honest! π
