Hi everyone!!! 💖

You know what time of the week it is~ newsletter time!!! 💜 🥂 So I got a lot of different requests for this week’s newsletter so it was so hard to pick one topic 😢 But I decided to write about something that I’m SURE you all are super invested in already.

I don’t know about you guys but everyone here at the Teuida office is super sad that the drama ended this past week 😔 😭 sooo, in honor of the show finishing its first season I’d like to dedicate this whole newsletter to the drama & what you guys can learn from

it! ❤️ Stay tuned cuz we have a fun challenge after this newsletter too hehe 🤐

Young-woo introduces herself by saying “My name is Woo-Young-Woo, whether it is read straight or flipped. Kayak, deed, rotator, noon, racecar, woo-young-woo.” If you guys saw our post on the Teuida community...you would know that all of these words are ‘Palindromes’ in English. 📚 ✨

She introduces herself by listing these palindromes because her name is a Korean Palindrome: it starts and ends with Woo! While the subtitles have been changed to English palindromes, let me teach you the Korean ones (what Young woo actually says in the show) and you all can learn some vocabulary! 🥰

Please find the vocabulary cards that I drew below (I'm sorry for the quality I'm not an artist but I tried my best hehe) ⬇️

1. 기러기 🦆 (gi-reo-gi): Wild goose

2. 토마토 🍅 (to-mah-to): Tomato

3. 스위스 🇨🇭(seu-wi-seu): Switzerland

4. 인도인 🇮🇳 (in-do-in): Indian person

5. 별똥별 🌠 (byeol-ttong-byeol): Shooting star

As you can tell all of these words have the same character for the first and last part of the word! So, these are perfect examples of Korean Palindromes!!!

Did you all know that Extraordinary Attorney Woo reached record viewership ratings?!😮 It was number one everywhere!! People watched the show for 77,430,000 hours and the show was in Netflix's top 10 for 7 weeks! Some people even say if you haven’t seen the drama–it will be hard to socialize in Korea at the moment because legit EVERYONE is talking about it!!! 😆 ❤️

Since everyone has seen the drama and is obviously ~loving it~
