β€οΈ Hello Everyone !!!! β€οΈ
First of all, I have to say sorry because I SWORE that I scheduled last week's newsletter to go out but I found out it didn't :( So sorry for all of you that missed it last week but I hope this week's newsletter makes up for that!! I'm speaking to you all from Lombok, Indonesia right now!!!! <3
Let's get right into this week's issue of Teugether! βΊοΈ
What's trending in Korea this week?! π°π·
Guys the BIGGEST trend at the moment is definitely the new drama with IU and Park Bogum called "When Life Gives You Tangerines" π§‘
It's been quite a while since there has been a drama that has taken Korea by storm like this (maybe the last one was Lovely Runner) but people are OBSESSED and crying over this drama. It has even been #1 on the trending drama list for TWO WEEKS.
If you haven't had a chance to watch it yet please do! I've only watched the first episode but I'm already super HOOKED π
People are even calling it the "κ΅λ―Ό λλΌλ§" Do you remember when we learned κ΅λ£° which meant national norm or national rule?!!? Well its the same beginning κ΅λ―Ό λλΌλ§ means "national drama" because of how popular it is right now hehe β€οΈ
Korean Lyric of the Week π°π·
β Too Bad - GDragon ft. Anderson Paak β
"κΈ΄κ°λ―Όκ°"
(gin-ga-min-ga)
This lyric is actually a very popular Korean idiom which means to be unsure or hesitant. In context, it's usually an option between two options!
I think the English translation would be "torn" between two options!
