Have you guys heard of the Hospital Playlist spinoff called "Resident Playbook"?!!?

Well, it's been airing for a while now but we're finally getting to the end of season 1 (I'm so sad) & things are getting SOOO interesting~!! (Y'all should definitely go watch it) ❤️

This isn't a spoiler, but there is a character in the show who is an ex-idol (within the story not in real life) BUT he performs one of his groups songs at a 노래방 which is karaoke & the song/dance/and clip are so popular right now!!!

The original song is by TXT!!! The characters from this drama (especially sabi - 사비) who is born in 2004 and is a new actor are all getting SO much love by the Korean public right now!!! They're like the nation's sweethearts --

if you watch this clip and aren't convinced to watch the drama, I think you're a robot... 🤖

Korean Lyric of the Week 🇰🇷

HAPPY - Day6

"과연 행복할 수 있을까요?"

(gwa-yeon heng-bok-hal su iss-eul-ga-yo?)

I'm not sure about y'all but I LOVE Day6 and their songs and their lyrics too.

Let's break it down:

과연: indeed, ultimately (used when comparing thought vs. reality)
행복: happy
할 수 있을까요: can we do __ (it)?

This lyric as a whole means "Will we indeed be happy?" or "Will there be a day when we're happy?" The reason I wanted to teach you all this lyric was because of the word 과연 - it's a difficult word to translate but it's used when comparing your thoughts/expectations with reality 😊

In this case the person might be hoping for happiness but will that indeed happen? 과연 can we be happy? 😥

Here is an example of someone using it in context:

A: 나 남친이랑 헤어질거야. I'm going to break up with my boyfriend.

B: 과연 그럴수있을까? Will you actually/indeed be able to do that?

I hope that makes sense but let me know if you have any questions about 과연! 😆

HI FRIEND I'm so excited for your trip in a week? or so!!??!?!?

I have gotten this question quite a bit but I wanted to answer it again because so many new restaurants are popping up these daysss!! My personal favorite veggie/vegan restaurants are:

1. Plant (vegan cafe and restaurant) located in Itaewon

2. Saravana Bhavan (indian restaurant) also located in Itaewon

3. Around Green (brunch cafe) located in Mangwon

BUT you're traveling all the way to Korea so I found a list of a bunch of vegetarian restaurants around Seoul that include Korean food hehe
