YALLLL this is the best news that could have possibly come up...
CHIPOTLE IS FINALLY coming to Korea!!!
For those of you who don't know, we don't have chipotle in Korea and for a country that is so obsessed with rice/healthy ish meals (Poke is literally a daily food for so many people here) it's SURPRISING that we haven't had it for this long !!
There is actually a Chipotle dupe in Korea called "Cuchara" and it's funny because it's the exact same thing as Chipotle but it tastes too healthy (doesn't have the beautiful oily flavor that American Chipotle has!! (I'm worried it's going to go out of business now..)
This term is one that is very commonly used (to the point that it's in a lot of lyrics so let's learn it! (Also I love this song why do people hate it) π
This is a great question!! If you didn't know... one of Korea's biggest holidays (CHUSEOK) is coming up soon!! π It is 100% fine to travel to Korea during Chuseok (might be nice because a lot of people will probably be traveling to other parts of Korea so places might be empty!!!)
We have a pretty long break this year and during Chuseok it's really likely that many shops that are smaller businesses/family owned are probably doing to be closed π₯ BUT the bigger stores and restuarants will all be open so no worries~!!
The good thing is though, most Korean businesses will publish their hours and if they're going to be open on Chuseok or not! Just download the Naver Maps app and check the business hours!
